My Christmas Wishlist 2018

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I have a special post. It is the Holidays, so I try to include topics about the season. I love and enjoy the feeling of the holidays. It is sad that it only happens once a year. But that is why we expect it so much.

Like any other year, I like to post my Christmas Wish List. It is not out of greediness. But it is an excuse to act like a child and write down my wish for Santa. I am too old now and the things that I want are sometimes expensive. This is the only time of the year where I can ignore the price tag and get something that I want.

When I was younger I would get gifts from my parents and family. Then it was all about gift exchange. I would ask for silly things, but as I go older my wishes became more specific. It was sad when I didn’t get what I asked for. Or get things that I didn’t need. Now that I am an adult I can buy whatever I want.

Now I am much older, and I can’t be spending money on every whim. So Christmas is the day where I allow to gift myself. I am happy and nobody has to stress out for me. There has to be other adults out there that have this same idea, right?

This are my 2018 Christmas Wish List:

  • Desktop Computer: This is the most expensive thing that I’ve asked for so far. It is part of the ‘project’ I want to do for 2019. My dream is to have the Microsoft Surface Studio. But that is more than I can afford.
  • Desk: I been asking for a desk since forever. And my room is too small for one. I used to have a computer desk once. But it didn’t have enough space for anything. At least my request has been heard, my father is arranging one for me.
  • Kuretake Zig Clear Color Pens: Compared to the Copics these are cheap. A $100 for the 80 pens set. So the price is reasonable almost little more than a $1 for each pen.
  • Dr. Ph. Martin Radiant: I want these so bad. And they cost almost $75 for a 14 color set. I am still a newbie with watercolors. So I can’t jump into liquid watercolors just yet. But that doesn’t stop me from wishing for it.
  • Artist Backpack: I want an artist backpack. I don’t how it is or how does it look like. In my mind, it is a backpack where I can carry my art supplies around. Spacious and waterproof.
  • Computer Glasses: I work a lot staring at a monitor. And I am at an age where I have to start taking care of myself. So I’m now starting with my eyes.
  • Desk chair: I need one and I have one, but it is not in the right conditions. So I am between buying a new one or fixing the old one.
  • Yellow Star Swarovski necklace: I don’t need one right now. But it has become a tradition to get a new crystal necklace for the Holidays.
  • Sketchbook: I have a problem with this. I always want a new sketchbook. I can never let myself wait for the holidays. Last year I bought myself the Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Journal.
  • Art Portfolio: This is the biggest fight I always have with art papers. Some papers come in pads and I hate having loose papers around. So this is why I need to get myself an art portfolio.

This list is long but not that long. But it makes sense. I always write my Christmas, Birthday and Three Kings Day gifts together. There are 10 gifts on my list, that means almost three gifts for each celebration. On my birthday there will be four gifts. Because it is the most important one of the three.

There are things that I wrote here that I won’t be able to get. And there are others that I will save for later. In general, I like writing lists. But I do want to focus on the things that I do want the most. Which it’s the desktop computer.

Well, it is going to be a while until I can get my gifts. I am not at home right now so the presents would have to wait. It is either I buy somethings overseas or I get it when I return. By the way, that will be a few weeks after Christmas. If I buy it after the Holidays would it be cheaper?

So there you have it a special holiday post. Do you know what you want for the Holidays? Don’t be afraid of wanting things, that is normal. Sometimes I wish I could have anything, but in reality, I want nothing. I ask for the sake of wanting stuff or because I don’t have it.

Do not forget to give me a visit at my website The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others, have a nice day, and take care!

See you all later and Happy Holidays,

from Ijiserure.
