Sketchbook Art: Melody

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I want to show you another drawing of mine. It has been a long time since I posted one of these. I know that the last one was a month ago. But that is a long time in my book. 2019, I have to treat each they as if it were longer than it is.

So who is this character?

A long time ago, last year, I blogged about her twin sister Harmony. They are both twins. They couldn’t appreciate their own beauty. So they swapped their styles with each other. Now they can see that everyone sees them like. It is now confusing as their personalities do not match their appearance.

Harmony and Melody are twins and they study at a liberal arts school. Their mom is absent most of the time. She is a classical music singer. And she is always busy performing concerts around the world.

Their dad works in a private boarding school. Instead of staying at the school as most professors do, each day he commutes 4 hours back and forth from work to home. He can’t leave his girls alone. He is a doting father. The kind of that would go to each play or recital to videotape their child.

One day the previous school dean stepped down his position. And the father was promoted to principal. He was going to refuse as the principal had to live at the school’s premises. He couldn’t be far away from his daughters.

Over the years the school was starting to have low new additions. So they were planning to turn the all-boys boarding school into a co-ed. The problem was, that they new needed to test out if the students could get along with new female alumni. So the father thought that he could be principal and be with his daughters as well.

On their way to start their high school years, their father enrolled them in his All Boys Boarding school. Is not like they didn’t know. The idea came out of nowhere. Their father talked about his promotion and was going to refuse to stay with his family instead. The twins were very supportive of him. They did accept the offer. They wanted to know was it going to a school full of boys.

By saying yes, they thought they were already enrolled. But first, they needed to take some entrance exam for admission. They passed almost scrapping the lowest scores. Their school was different than the one they were going into. If it wasn’t for their dad’s lessons they wouldn’t have made it at all.

That summer before the start of high school was the harshest of all. They studied and took the entrance exam. They had to create and get fitted for their new school uniforms. Say goodbye to their old friends. Pack and leave behind some belongings they were not allowed at school. And the worse part, moving into the dorms.

There was a dorm house for the professors and another one for the male students. And the principal had his own place. The female dorm house was not built yet. So the girls had to decide. Either stay with their dad at the principal’s dorm house or live in the same building as all the male students. They had to stay at the principal’s house. They couldn’t imagine how were they going to share the same showers with all the boys.

And there you have it, a new sketchbook character post. Don’t worry I still got some more. I won’t run out of characters for a long while. Especially when each day I end up making a new story. That is my favorite thing to do. But I can’t forget that there are many things that I can do. And I want to show them.

Do not forget to give me visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,
