My Personal Cookbook

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Welcome to my new post! Today I want to talk about one of the many random projects I have. Not all are art related. But I do have a bunch of things that I want to try. Whether it is personal or creative it doesn’t matter. It’s one of those hobbies that makes you happy to complete. Nothing is better than fulfilling something that you like.

For anybody who doesn’t know, I like eating. I am a picky eater but I also like to try new things. What stops me from eating whatever I want is money and laziness. Not going to lie, some foods are expensive, hard to find, or difficult to prepare. Sometimes, that isn’t enough to stop me. But when it comes to money, it is a good idea to find the recipe and make it yourself. This way I can save a bit of money and have more quantity to enjoy. So I decided to create my own cookbook with dishes and recipes I’ve already tried.

As you can see, there is a long list of meals that I’ve cooked. There are some that I don’t remember. So that means that there are more of them without even noticing. There are also a lot more dishes I want to cook someday. I bet I can make a whole list of dishes I want to try. A lot of them have to do with the dough. I am very intimidated by it so I haven’t tried cooking anything with it. The closest I’ve done is the Deep Dish Pizza, Calzone, and Bread Bowl Pasta. Those were easy because I made the dough from a boxed recipe.

List of dishes I want to learn how to prepare:

  1. Chocolate Chip Cookies
  2. Bread
  3. Pizza Dough
  4. Cinnamon Roll
  5. Birria Tacos
  6. Pinwheels
  7. Chocolate Trifle
  8. Fudge Brownies
  9. Beavertails
  10. Chinese Dumplings
  11. Ice Cream
  12. Marshmallows
  13. Pasta
  14. Pasta Carbonara
  15. Tiramisu
  16. Crepes
  17. French Onion Soup
  18. Croque Monsieur
  19. Chocolate Truffles
  20. Dinner Rolls
  21. Char Siu

See? I told you I could make another list. I like food and I love eating food. The big issue is the time to make it, and the size of my kitchen. And the lack of skills I have. The only reason I am good at cooking is because I have to survive. And I want to try many foods out there but I don’t have the money to spend on them. So this is the best compromise. I would always try the original dish elsewhere. After my first taste, I try to replicate the same flavor homemade.

This is the Cook Book Journal I bought.

It looks like a diary. Where you keep records of your recipes. You can add pictures of the final product.

So there you have it, a new blog post. I don’t know what to call this. Is this creative or is this a diary? All I know is that my cookbook comes in a diary form. I’ve had this book for years now. And I am waiting for the right time to use it. That is easier said and done. I have a lot of ideas and projects, but I don’t have time for anything anymore. There is always something more important to do instead.

So please wish me good luck and have a nice day!

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, TwitchInstagramTumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
