image Sketchbook Art: Churippu

Churippu

Hello! How are you doing?

Today I want to post another drawing from my sketchbook. I have plenty of them. By doing this, it can push me a little more into completing them. One third of the sketchbook aren’t drawn yet, and half needs some ink outlining. Then finally the majority of the sketchbook need coloring. I hope I can at least complete 15 sketchbook drawings by the end of December.

So this is the artwork I posted, another drawing of Churippu. This time she is in normal body form. When I draw, I like my lines to be as smooth as possible. So as soon as sketch a drawing I am then redrawing the lines. I still need to practice on coloring with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The colors aren’t blending nor looking as smooth as I want them to be. It looks good on paper, but not as good after you scan it. The same with the Crayola pencils, if I don’t press them hard enough on the paper it won’t come out as a smooth coating.  My problem was for making my drawings on both sides of the paper. After I finish my Blue Sketchbook, I will work on my drawings on my Very Big Sketch Book. It has 300 sheets so that means 600 pages. Do I want to waste half of my pages so I won’t draw on both sides? I don’t know. I guess I’ll have to search around to see how people handle their sketchbooks. Do they draw on both sides of the paper? or do they draw it safe and stay on one side only?

For this drawing I used the same materials as the previous ones. But I prefer to tell you what colors did I use. They are all kinda similar drawings with the same colors. That was a theme I had back in the day when I was drawing them. I was a university freshman on my second semester. And I was already tired of having to pick out clothes to wear to go to class. So in my mind uniforms was kinda a good idea. Red, black and white are my campus’ colors. These are all the colors:

All the colors are from Crayola Colored Pencils.

Red
Black
Gray
Slate
Violet
Tan
Light Brown
Dark Brown

Magenta
Golden Yellow
Navy Blue

So there you have it. Now I am going to work on my next post. And maybe come finals projects I am letting those fall behind. If I had the power to stop time and do everything in less than a second. I am just remembering a show from my childhood about a kid with a magical pocket watch.  Please stay in tune for my next post and see you all next time.

See you later, and Happy Holidays!
