Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Yay! Another class artwork. I made this drawing not so long ago. It was part of the clay sculpture assignment. And you all thought that I only knew how to draw anime. It is something I don’t do very often. But it turned out pretty good.
In my sculpting class we had to choose three items. It had be voluminous objects. So I picked a camera, a Game Cube controller and a high heel shoe. We drew each items from all different angles. From the top, on the side and the bottom. A hard day of work and precise drawings. Everything had to have the exact measurements of the real item. Almost like taking a photograph picture of said object. At least it was all worth it. Look at what I made.
Making these sketches made me realized how much I enjoy drawing. The downside is that pencil sketches tend to smudge over time. And I dislike graphite smudges on my paper or my other drawings. Thank goodness that art fixative spray exists. One day could try out some pencil sketches. I don’t do it so much because it takes a lot of time and concentration on details. But it is nice to try it out again. Without the stress of having the art due for next class.
Why did I choose those items? I chose them because I like them. Remembering those times when I used to play with my Game Cube. I still have it around. Don’t know if it still works though. The item I modeled in the end was the camera. I love my camera so much. But the drawing I am showing is of my favorite high-heel shoe. It has been so long since I wore it. Those were the heels I used during my high school graduation. These items in some way were kind of a throwback.
What art supplies did I use? I am using a Canson Mixed Media sketchbook. A mixed media sketchbook is my ideal art book. For all dry mediums, and some inks. My pencils art from the Faber Castell pencil set. I used F, 4H, HB and 2B. They great pens for sketching.
And there you have it, another class artwork. Today I am writing this post off schedule. A hurricane it’s one it’s way towards the island. I wan’t to make this post before anything happens. I am not sure if I will be able to post anything on Friday. This is why am doing it ahead of time. I pray and cross my fingers that every thing turns out to be alright.
