Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Welcome to my Christmas post! I’ve been wanting to write this post since the holidays starting. It is something I only get to do once a year. I am not a child anymore and I don’t expect gifts from Santa. So now that I have a job and money to spend, I go and get my own gifts.

I am always in need of something new and shiny. With my tight budget, I try to hold back. But this is the only time of the year where I let myself go. And I’ve been working very hard these past weeks. So I deserve to get myself something nice.

These are the things that I want for Christmas:

Handlettering Book: I’ve been wanting to learn how to do hand-lettering for quite some time. I want to have amazing penmanship. And now I can do that when I get my practice book.

Watercolor Journal: I need to keep practicing more on my water coloring. If I want to be an expert at it. And after what happened last time, I made sure to pick a decent-sized journal.

Lamp: I want and need a lamp. Not only for me but for the whole house. With it, I can color and paint at night. Better yet, I want them with daylight lightbulbs.

Quip: I used to have an electric toothbrush as a kid. And I’ve been wanting to get one until I heard about this brand. Now I know that I will be taking good care of my oral hygiene.

Tripod: There is something I want to work on, so I asked for a phone tripod. With it, I can record videos from my phone without having to hold it.

Weekly Planner: This time I will try so hard to not miss out on my due dates. My goal is to complete this planner by the end of the year with all my plans and due date. I tend never to finish my planners. So I want to change that this year.

There are some things that I also wanted. But with my tight budget, I can’t get them. But they are always in my mind waiting for the day that I am able to get them. I have to be patient with it. It will take a while cause they are pricey but that isn’t stopping me. I have to be patient with it.

These are the things that I really wanted but I can buy yet:

Desktop Computer: I’ve been wanting this for a while. And I know which ones I want. Without a desk, I wouldn’t be working on this on the floor.

Laptop Computer: My current laptop is running very slow and it is getting old. What I need is an equipment for work only purposes that I can have on the go.

Desk and chair: I need my space to work on all the things I do. And it is quite hard to do so without a desk. I haven’t bought one yet cause I have no space to put one. But one day I will. And it will be sooner than later.

Dylussions Paints, Sprays, and Shimmers: I love this brand for art journaling. Every time they are always put out some new colors. And you know me, I want to have them all. They do cost a considerate amount so I have to hold back on these and make do with what I already have.

And there you have it a list of all the things that I want for Christmas. And also a small list of things that I would love to have but I can’t. One day I will save enough money for me to get them. It takes time and time goes fast. So that means I will get them in no time.

I’ve been working a lot these past weeks. On my day job and on my artworks. I am lucky that I haven’t burned myself out. At least I found the secret to make progress. I do small steps each day and each step takes me to the end goal. So tonight when I get back from work I will do some more tiny steps. So please wish me good luck. And Happy Holidays!
