Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Today I want to talk about books. And one of my favorites while at it. I am going to talk out “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. I am not getting paid to talk about this book. But I do want to express my reasons for liking it.
I’ve been a fan of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” for a long time. Well, I wasn’t a fan since the very beginning. When I jumped into reading it, the fifth book was almost out. From all the books and mangas I’ve read, I collect the physical copy. I’ve bought the first four books in one go. I even got the “Do It Yourself” edition. My books I don’t read them in the original English version. All my books are in the Spanish version. I have them cause I wanted my mom to read them too. And she isn’t fluent in that language. As of today she hasn’t read the first book yet. And I have continued buying the Spanish version for two reasons. One is because I have gotten used to reading it in Spanish. Two, is that I don’t want to ruin my collection by having them in different languages.
Those books are very funny. I have read them all until “Old School”. I know that there are still more and coming. But the Spanish version still isn’t available. But I will wait a while until I can buy at least four of them together. It is horrible having to wait for each installment. With a set of books I can wait my time until more books get released. I like my books in hardcover. And each book has a different color. How can I not have their books. They all look like journals. Reading those books makes me want to keep a diary as well.
Out of all the things I’ve read, I am glad that I have the physical copies. I do want to own the whole collection. I am sure that there are going to making more books for quite some time. Comparing the first book with the last one I’ve read. The first book takes place a whole school year. Book 10 “Old School” events happen for only two months. I think they are shrinking the timeline to release more books. I get it, more books more money. I am not complaining. Their books are becoming thicker by installments.
So there you have it. It is another creative post, of me fangirlying about something I like. But I can’t help it, I like it very much. And I want to share it with you all. This book has saved me in grave times of boredom. I’ve read the last three books I got these past two weeks. I couldn’t put it down, it was the only thing I had for entertainment. Well I am still doing fine. Waiting for the power and the internet signal to come back. At least we got the water back. It is not save for drinking, but water is still water.
