Future Travels

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Welcome to my new travel post! It has been a long while since the last time I traveled. Going to New York in 2022 does not count. That is why I am redoing that trip next year. But I do miss it so much after the world shut down. I’ve been saving a lot of money since the last time I went on a trip. So the time has come to make a game plan of what places I want to go to soon.

For anybody out there who doesn’t know, I love traveling. I like it so much that I made a blog so I can talk about it. I’ve been to a few places. But my dream is to see the whole World. Like any other traveler, I want to take baby steps. Each trip will take me further and further from home. The biggest question is where do I start first?

These are the places I can and want to visit soon:

  • New York: I have to go back. My visit to New York doesn’t count. I only spent less than 24h there. I missed so much and not enough to enjoy the experience. I can’t wait till March 2023 to finally have my first vacation.
  • Seattle: I like Seattle and I wouldn’t mind visiting again. There are things that I missed or didn’t do. So I want to do it all over again but better. This time I have a friend to visit. If I am lucky I want to bring a friend along too.
  • Disney Orlando: I want to go to Disney someday. I never went as a kid, so I am going as an adult. There are a bunch of parks I want to see. I understand that the parks are pricey, so I want to enjoy them as much as I can in one go.
  • Somewhere in Europe: I am finding out that I can go to Europe. Do I have the money to travel there? I don’t. The flight alone is quite pricey. There would be spending a lot on museums, food, attractions, and souvenirs. Also, I can’t decide where to visit first.
  • British Colombia, Canada: I want to go back to Vancouver. But I also want to visit Victoria and Whistler. I miss my time there. This is the best compromise I can get instead of living there.
  • Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City: Back in 2018, I blew my chance to visit those places. So I now want to go back and finish that trip. I wouldn’t mind visiting Quebec during winter. That place looks like a Winter Wonderland.
  • South Korea or Japan: I want to go to South Korea or Japan someday. If I want to make that happen, I’ll have to save a lot of money and keep an eye on those flight prices. There is a friend out there waiting for me to visit.
  • Caribbean Island: It has been a long time since the last time I went to one of those islands. So I want to visit Aruba, Curacao, or Saint Martin. Something new but close to home.

My list isn’t long enough. There are a ton of places I want to visit. But I have to be realistic about what I can do. So far I am planning to travel once or twice a year if possible. My favorite time of the year to travel is during the Fall or Spring. When the weather is nice and not too hot or cold.

To be honest, I always wanted to go to Europe. The problem is where am I going. In my mind, I’ve always thought of visiting Europe on a travel tour. So it is different when you go on your own and each city has its time to shine. My safest bet is to go to either Madrid or London. On my first run to Europe, I would like to visit a place where I understand the language.

There you have it, a new travel post. So far I know what I want to do for 5 of those trips. I love planning ahead, and I have a list of places to see and eat. All I need is the money. Because if it were me, I would be traveling all the time. But like I said before, I like to travel during Autumn or Summer.
