Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?
Welcome to my Life Post. This is the last one of the year, so I have to make it count. This post is different from the others. I want to reminisce about all the things that happened this year. And reflect on what I can do better for next year. At least this wasn’t like 2020. Nothing special happened, and we all pretend that it didn’t happen.
Not going to lie, I thought this year was going to be a blast. The year started with my parents visiting me for the Holidays. And soon after I was on a trip to New York to visit some more family. It was very exciting, I’d never been to New York before. But the trip was very stressful, I drove for 4 hours. After my parents left, I got very sick. I guess the East Coast weather was too much for me to handle.
It seems that my parents want to visit again for the Holidays next year. Right now in this weather would be a good idea. It is super cold and they wouldn’t like it. Whether it happens or not, I have to prepare myself. At least I know that they might light as a Christmas gift and places to go with them. But any other season would be okay as well. If not, then I will visit them again. I still have some unfinished business in PR. Going back once was not enough, and my brother missed out on the trip.
I went places and did new things, it was fun. I want to do it all over again and more. It wasn’t amazing but I did go out during Spring Break. I ate at Golden Corral, and Big Lou’s Pizza, and had some Korean BBQ. I tried Painting with a Twist and attended a Cooking Class. I know some of those things were a bit pricey. But I want to do it all over again. For next year, I have a lot of plans. I realized that having a long list of things to do pushes you to do more. It gives you more variety if you want to do something different. Now I have to go and update my list.
This year wasn’t as boring as I thought. Nothing will compare to my adventures in Vancouver. But little things make difference even if it’s once a month. There are things that I’ve done and forgotten about them. I went to a new Burger Joint. I may go again someday. I visited a Sunflower Field, and next year I want to see them in full bloom. I donated plasma and went to a friend’s Home Welcoming party. At least I wasn’t alone while having fun.
I want to plan something soon, I’ve been swamped most of the time. There isn’t any time to worry about something else or relax. If I am lucky I want to complete as much work as I can ahead of time. But always remember to have some fun and time to rest. Not everything is about hustling and achieving. Because at the end of the day, nothing matters if you aren’t happy.
For 2023 I want to gather all my experiences this year and learn how to do more than stay at home.
- Japanese Garden/ Park
- Sea World
- Zoo
- Art Museum
- Austin
- San Pedro Springs
- Aquarium
- Six Flags
- Movies
- Downtown
- Sunflower Fields
- Arcade Center
See? There is so much to do. And there is still more, but I am not going to write down the whole list here. With all these activities now I have a reason to start and finish my 365 Days Style Smash Book. I’ve been waiting so long to complete that book. But there is always something happening that ruins it all. So 2023 will be the year that I get my album done.
I love it when the year changes, there are so many possibilities to happen. And it takes away all the bad things that came with the previous year. In other words, I like the idea of renewal. Like I’ve mentioned in my New Year’s Resolution Post, I want to make 2023 the best year ever. That is a huge challenge to handle. Even I don’t know if I am up to that task.
So there you have it, a new Life Post. I wasn’t expecting to write one of these for the end of the year. But I had to because I couldn’t think of any better post idea to end the year with. I am writing this at work. The weather is super cold, but I am warm enough to move my fingers on the keyboard. Trying to get as many things done before the year ends. If only I could pull all-nighters. If I do I’ll stream it someday, with advance preparations of course.
I hope you all have a nice Holiday with your friends, family, or loved ones. And Happy New Years.
