Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?
Welcome to my new Holiday post! Today I am talking about all the places I’ve been dreaming about to celebrate the Holidays. Sometimes it is good to mix it up, spice it up, do something different, do something new. I’ve celebrated the holidays for as long as I can remember. And it has always been the same. Meet the family and get gifts. Now things aren’t like that anymore. Even if I want to start my own traditions. We get bored and tired of doing the same old thing every year.
There are places I’ve dreamed about spending my Holidays. They all sound exciting and new. I would like to spend in one of those places. Most of them are in the cold and the other ones are in tropical areas. Whether you want to be warm or cold, there are plenty to choose from. If you don’t like the cold at all, you can go anywhere in the South Hemisphere. They celebrate their Holidays during the Summer.
- Christmas Cruise: A lot of people like to celebrate their Holidays in a winter wonderland. Meanwhile, there are others that do whatever to escape the cold weather. I can’t forget, no matter where you are. There are places that still celebrate the Holidays. And going on a cruise doesn’t excerpt you from that. All I know is that Tropical Resorts and Cruises have special activities for passengers traveling during the Holidays. And I don’t mind taking part of in it if I ever get that chance. The question is, Where am I going on this cruise? I wouldn’t mind going to Alaska, the Caribbean would also be fine. I would stop either at the Bahamas or St. Martin. Those are my top 3 for a cruise trip.
- Holiday Cabin: While growing up I’ve seen way too many Christmas movies and commercials. The one that sticks out to me the most is when the whole family travels to a remote cabin in the snowy mountains surrounded by a forest of pine trees. And for the rest of the Holidays, they all get to be together day and night. I’ve always imagined doing something like this for myself. It wasn’t that long ago that I saw snow for the first time. So the idea of being with my family and doing all those Wintery activities would be wonderful. Places that I would go to would be Whistler and Banff in Canada or Aspen in the US.
- Disney World: I want to go to Disney. And I am certain that they make it extra special during any holiday. Spooky for Halloween, Fireworks show for New Year, and Festive for the Holidays. Now I wonder what more special occasions you can celebrate at the parks. Well, I don’t have the money to do that yet. But one day I will. I have to continue saving some more cash for it.
- New York: As I’ve said before, everyone has their own way to celebrate the Holidays. No matter what time of the year, I still want to visit New York. I’ve seen Home Alone 2 way too many times. So I do dream myself going to Central Park, skating at Rockefeller Square. And see the ball drop at Times Square. All I can say is that it isn’t happening this year either.
- Japan: Going to Japan would be super cool. In my mind, I would like to go to Sapporo or a hot springs for the Holidays or afterward. I vision myself relaxing on a night soak in the hot springs while it snows. The only thing to keep me warm would be drinking Sake. But that is a dream for another day. I can’t wait to make it happen. I would be so happy if I can make this happen.
- Europe: No matter what I want to visit Europe. It is doesn’t matter what time of the year I go. There are many tourists in the Summer. Fall and Spring would be right for me. And in Winter the museums are closed and there are fewer tourists. But you can’t forget the Holidays. Every country has a unique way to celebrate them. It would be interesting to take part in that. But it would be tricky to choose where to go. Germany is on my top list, then Switzerland, and Belgium. I know there are more. But I can’t think of any other from the top of my head.
What I like the most about these trips is that I can go in December during the start of the Holidays. Then you can come back before Christmas to spend it with your family. It is a win-win situation if you want to do it this way. For Japan, you can go after the Holidays and you can also go to other places to celebrate New Year. There are a bunch of possibilities in a time frame of two months, December and January.
And there you have it! A new holiday post. I want to travel soon. I would be happy going anywhere. I love traveling and it is sad that I can’t do so. If I am lucky I might go to Austin in a few months. I want to do new and interesting things in 2022. I have to compensate for the past three years. That is a lot of pressure/fun over my shoulders. I do hope to make this happen. It is not fair to do so much work and have 0 fun.
So please wish me good luck and Happy Holidays!
