Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
It is another Special Holiday post. The Holidays aren’t over yet. And I only write these kinds of posts once a year. To be honest I don’t even remember this year’s resolutions. I forgot about it. I guess it is time to revise all the things that I have or haven’t accomplished.
I like writing my resolutions lists. It doesn’t matter if I complete them or not. It feels good to start the year with a goal. You can also say that you end up the year with feeling hopeful. That on the next one you will try better.
What were this year’s resolutions?
- Be a nicer person: This one wasn’t so hard. It’s because I was in a place where people are very nice to each other. Canada is a great place with good people all around.
- Become an independent adult: I could check this off my list. This year I traveled on my own. Lived without my parents and had to pay rent and bills. If this isn’t being independent then I don’t know what it is.
- Become a classy lady: This one is confusing. Sometimes I have to check what
classy actually means. I could try again or not. I know that I have to stop cursing.
- Save money: Yes, I did this one. This one is one of the easiest for me. But now that I don’t have a job. Would I be able to do this?
- Become a travel blogger: This year I’ve traveled more than I ever have. And I am blogging about it, so that has to count.
- Open my own business: Not yet. I want to redo some things. If I want to start something it has to be perfect.
- Get a healthier lifestyle: When I was in Vancouver I had to walk everywhere. So I lost a lot of weight. I have to start walking more.
- Become a better artist: I am practicing, and my are style has changed. I am proud of myself that I am getting better.
- Be more organized: I haven’t changed in the slightest. I am still as unorganized as ever.
Well, it seems that I did better than I thought. I completed 6 out of 9 goals. I hope next year I can do better. I want to have goals that can turn into a habit. And also do things that can keep me occupied when there is nothing else to do.
This is my new resolutions list:
- Practice using watercolors: I want to learn how to use watercolors. So I am forcing myself to go on a watercolor boot camp. At the end of the year, I want to be an expert at this.
- Practice hand lettering: Hand lettering looks cool. And I want to learn how to do it.
- Work more: I have to do more drawings, write more posts. and manage all my accounts. Now I have all the time I need. So I have to put that time into good use.
- Save money: I have no incoming income. It will be hard to save. Or try my hardest not to spend.
- Learn a new skill: I am still practicing Italian and French. Those aren’t going anywhere for a while.
- Be more organized: I’ll try so hard to keep all my things in place. I can’t live my life among messes. I have to learn to put things back in its place after using them.
- Use a creative planner: I want to use a daily planner, so I will force myself to use it at all times. I want to have all my work and ideas planned out.
- Be more optimistic: I have to be stronger. Not let anything bring me down.
- Start a healthy lifestyle: I need to drink more water. Do my morning exercises. Meditate, sleep 8 hours and eat more vegetables.
It seems like I will be busy next year. Well, as long as I don’t forget them. But I know that I won’t. Because I will write it down in my planner. And they are things that I very much want to do. Like I said before, the hardest one will be ‘saving money’. First I need to get money to save money. It will be impossible to live a whole year without spending a cent.
So there you have it. This post is special, like every year. I am still not back home. But I am having lots of fun. This is the best Holidays I’ve ever had in my adulthood. Is not every day that you celebrate Christmas in a tropical resort. But I do miss my blog. It feels weird to let my blog publish itself for weeks.
Do not forget to give me a visit at my website The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others, have a nice day, and take care!
See you all later and Happy Holidays,
from Ijiserure.
