Hello everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I am present to you another drawing from my Blue Sketchbook. By now I have all my drawings colored and done. I am just scheduling the date when they are going to be published. I am doing this now cause there are things that I have to work on for January. Also I am getting things done early because of the Holidays. There are going to be family reunions, parties, outings. I need to be ready when something like that comes by.

This drawing is Princess Iji. Okay fine that’s me, with a dress I wore to my cousin’s wedding. I don’t remember taking a photo of me on that dress. So to remind myself I drew this picture. I think I do have a photo. I have to look for it and I have a ton of photographs. I like this dress. It was in a color that I don’t use often. But it made me feel pretty. My mom told me that the dress is somewhere around the house. So If I ever find it, I will take a picture of myself wearing it.

How did I made it? I used Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Crayola Colored Pencils and Black Micron pens. That’s about it. I don’t need much to color my drawings. On this drawing I colored it with Prismacolor. The shading I did it with Crayola. From the looks of it, I still need more practice on the blending. Sometimes Primacolor and Crayola don’t mix…sometimes.

By coloring these drawings daily forces me to practice. It’s been a while since the last time I colored or drew on my sketchbook. I wasn’t even planning on publishing art during this month. Even if I did, I wasn’t thinking of using art from the sketchbook. But I am glad that I did. Those drawings were neglected. Now I am thinking if I could find time to publish some more of those drawings. The schedule is kinda tight already. And I don’t want to add more than I can manage.

So there you have it, an art post. Right now I am working on future posts and artworks. I need to prepare myself for the new year. The sooner I get this done the better. The least I want is to fall behind on my work. Satisfied I will be if I can be one month ahead. I feel like I am always talking about how much work I have to do. I don’t always work myself to the bone. I go out sometimes too. Most of the time I am taking naps. Because my cats wake my up early, so I use that opportunity to get some things done. I am supposed to be cleaning my room right now. Family is coming to visit for Christmas Eve and my parents want the house to be all tidy. I will go now, so have a nice day and take care.
