Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new art post! Today I show you one of the recent artworks I’ve made. This is my new persona. Ijiserure Sapphire Purpura. That sounds cooler. It is a full-on change. 2019 is ending and we have to bring it up a scale for the next.

The day has come where I can post this art. I did this a while ago. But I wasn’t a one hundred percent sure when to post it. Let’s say I had a makeover and I had to change my character. I am Ijiserure but not Garnet anymore. I am in the Purple Sapphire phase.

After returning home from my one year abroad. I felt different and I wanted to be different. Months later I entered into a purple mood. I can’t explain it. All I know is that I found comfort in the color purple. And to represent that change I also changed my character and then myself.

How did I get purple? I mixed Garnet Red and Sapphire Blue and I got Purple. I needed a new gemstone, but Amethyst was so common. Then I find out bothe Garnet and Sapphire have purple versions. So I stuck with Purple Sapphire cause she didn’t get enough love last time.

This a theme that has been going on. Reusing all my old things to create something new and better. All my oldest drawings, I am drawing them all over again. And coloring them too. That was a thing I used to do back then. But now I have a reason to redraw my old artwork.

So this drawing represents change. And I wanted to leave it for the end of the year 2019 to show that a decade is ending. From now on something new is going to come. 2020 I am working harder than ever and there is so much that I have to plan before the year ends.

I made this drawing in my Crayola only sketchbook. I love that sketchbook because it makes the colors look smoother. I also use my Leuchtturm for colored pencils but with a little more difficulty. I have to stock up on some more white Gellyrolls. I use those for every art I make. That is how good they are.

This has been a long week. But it didn’t go wasted. I already drew like seven drawings. I am exhausted but at least I did some progress. Now I have to color them. Which I have a ton of them to do. At least they aren’t in colored pencils. Those are the ones that take the longest time to finish.

So there you have it a new art post! I am already working on the 2020 artworks. And I am making extras too. There is something I want to do that I will need to post more artworks than ever before. So wish me good luck. I hope I can make it big soon. I am trying my hardest.
