Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new creative post! There is so much I’ve been wanting to talk about on this topic. It is a passion project that I’ve been working on since 2018. Two years later and I am only 1/5 done. I want to take some writing lessons because I want to write this story.

How did this idea all start? There is an online series I like very much. I’ve been watching it since the beginning. Over the years it has been lack lustered and bland. And I know it has so much potential to become something amazing. I continue to have hopes for it so I always come back. But people out there say “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.” I am sure they know how this all works.

I decided to do one better, I’ll make a better version of it. And I am not the only one who is doing it. At this point, it has become a trend. How the series is right now, anyone can make a better version of it. That is what I am planning to do. I can change all the names and nobody would tell the difference.

I don’t know how to explain how you can fix a story. The plot is already established and there are arcs. But I go and arrange events to make sense of the story. Later on, I create my own path of how I want the plot to go. It takes longer as I need to immerse myself in every character. I want their story and feelings to be believable.

I made my own characters. They’re inspired by the series, but I gave it my own twist and a better backstory. And I continue working to give them a good arc and character development. You have no idea how long I spent with the character design. It isn’t perfect. But I am trying to make it reflect their personalities, fighting style, and location.

Working on this story has me so excited. I’ve already made so many drawings and I continue making more. I can’t have enough. I’ll need a notebook so I can start writing down my story. Now I am deciding if to add character arcs for all characters in each story arc. That is something I’ll need to sit on and think.

And there you have it a new creative post! This is the first time in a long while that I’ve felt so enthusiastic about making a story. I thought I was doing to talk about the story in more detail. But I realized that I am not 100% sure of the events in my story. So before I go creating more plot, I have to cement the beginning and their characters.
