Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Welcome to my new art post. I’ve been itching to draw something after putting away all my art supplies. It is not easy to keep yourself occupied when it is time to pack and organize. All I wanted to do is draw or color something. So I decided to try something new.
One day I was on my computer organizing all my files and drawings. In a long lost file, I found some old drawings. I didn’t know what to do with them. So I remembered something I saw a few months ago. I’ve searched the internet like crazy and found this art program. Its called Paints Chainer. A program helps you color your line-art. I tried it and I experimented with it and this was my result.
Even if the picture came out a bit wonky, I still like the way it looks. After this drawing, I wanted to color more and more. At first, you think you are cheating the system. But in fact, you have to apply the right amount of color, in the right place next to the right color. And you might have the blend you where looking for.
This program is crazy and great at the same time. It does things you have never thought a program could do. You have to practice with it a few times to get used to it. But one day I want to recolor this image all over again. Either I get it wrong or right the next time, who knows? I want to find out if I have improved. Or better yet be good at it.
In conclusion, it was fun painting on digital for once. But I miss my traditional methods. Colored pencils, markers, watercolors, who wouldn’t miss that? I am happy that I can still draw my drawings on paper and then color them in digital. In my opinion that could be the best of both worlds. First, I have to learn how to use a drawing program. I already have a drawing tablet, I should have gone right to it a long time ago.
And there you have it a new art project. I hope you like it cause I want to do it some more. Well, to be honest, I’ve already painted a few. And I can’t wait to color some more. It is the only thing I can do now while I move. Today is the longest day of the year, so I am being productive and doing as many things as I can until the sun comes down. There is not time to rest for me, not anymore. Which me good luck from here on out.
Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!
See you all later and take care. Happy Summer Solstice!
