Isn’t she cute? This character is very old. I made her years before adding her to the collection. Why do I have many characters? Because I like to make characters. It is fun and I enjoy it.
So how do I make these characters?
First I think of an idea of a character. I already have a list of characters that I want to create. Then I build up a concept of the character. I imagine what I want my character to look like. Meanwhile, I make up a story for the character. Yes, I create the character and then I make the story. Sometimes both happen at the same time.
After that, I proceed to draw the artwork. The process has many steps. I draw, then ink, and color with watercolor pencil. And last, I add more color details with colored pencils. The other last step would be to scan the art. Then I can add the watermark.
There you have it a new Chibi Cute Collection character. I don’t know how other people constantly keep up with their work schedule. It is hard to stay consistent. But I am starting. It will take a while to get used to a routine.
