Getting Inspired: My Favorite Anime Artists

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I am posting a new creative post. Like I’ve been saying for these past months, I am practicing on my art works. So I decided to explain the reasons I want to get better. I want to show the kind of art I get inspiration from. Like any aspiring artist, I have a list of artist that I admire their art.

Still on my journey to learn and improve my art style. Every single day I practice my drawing skills. And in my mind, it feel like the results aren’t enough. When I am satisfied with my drawing, I fail at the coloring. There are days when I am scared of coloring an artwork. The fear to mess up something that I worked so hard to perfect. One day, I will move past that fear.

This is a list of the few artists I take inspiration from:

  • Tony Taka: I have been a fan of his artworks for years. I can’t remember when did I saw his artwork for the first time. All I know is that I admire the way he draws the female and male bodies. It is perfect, the kind of style I want to practice and make it my own.

  • Hiro Suzuhira: I like to practice with their hair and clothing the most. It is linear and gives me a good example of how to draw them. Thinking about it, I learned how to draw clothes by watching their artworks. You can tell how much I practiced it you look at my old drawings.

  • Aoi Nishimata: Another body style I like to practice with. Okay, not every anime girl has voluptuous curves or skinny figures. So I also practice drawing girls with Aoi’s style. When I do it, they end up looking petite and rounded. I want to know a variety of body styles.

  • Carnelian: I like Carnelian a lot. Their style is very slim girls. But I love how they have a delicate line art. To draw something like this I have to draw the line art with a thin ink pen. With their artworks, I learned how to trace my art with a fine liner. I am not perfect, but I am getting there.

  • Ein Lee: I am a little biased because I watch the RWBY series. But their concept art isn’t made the same way as the show. And this is why I love her art style. Look at those eyes and the waviness of the hair. This is what I aim for when I draw my characters.

  • Shouoto Aya: Aya is a mangaka. But I like how she draws the lines. They are precise and on point. I can see the separation of every element. Hair, skin, clothes, and background are all separate from each other. It isn’t as invisible and delicate like Carnelian’s but at least this makes the art stand out. Also their facial expresions are to die for, especially on the guys.

  • Juder: This is the art style that pushed me to create my own style. While practicing to imitate this style I found my own. In due respect, I love his style. It looks so nice and rounded. Even her hair has curves. If I could I would like to learn this style. With a mix of others of course.

  • Naschi: She draws anime girls too. But this is the best example of her coloring. I want to learn how to color like she does. It is so colorful and bright. That is one of the reasons why I have watercolor markers. I need a lot of pigment and a lot of hours of practice to achieve this.

Sometimes I use these artworks as bases for my own. I never learned how to draw a body from simple figures. So now I am going backwards. Learning the dimensions of the body and the face. In other words, to learn everything from the basics, first I have to forget everything I’ve known.

I know that most of these drawings are digital. There aren’t as many traditional drawings what I look up to. But that’s why Naschi and Tsiih-chan stand out the most for me. There are good traditional artists out there, I haven’t found them yet.

I am certain that one day I will reach their level. I am sad that I come to realize this now. It would have been excellent to know all the things that I know now. It was a few years ago when I started drawing in a sketchbook, using thicker paper for drawing. Using Prismacolors, watercolor pencils and markers, drawing with a blue lead. I’ve learned more now than I ever had when I started drawing.

So there you have it, a new creative diary post. Looking at all these artworks I am so inspired. Now I am motivated to do some more artworks now. I can’t wait for the day I can achieve that goal. To draw like a pro artist. Right now I have all the time in the world. That means that it is time to practice. Wish me good luck.

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,
