Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my post! This is a good time to give an update. There is so much to talk about. And a lot of things that I’ve been planning to do. After returning from my “break” I haven’t anything at all. But a lot has changed since then. If only I were more organized I would have shown a picture of my new set up.

What have I been working on?

So I moved to a new place. Now that I have space, I got myself a desk to work on. Well, I bought a bunch of stuff. A PC, artist-grade art supplies and so much more. There are still some things that I am waiting for in the mail. I want to get a microphone and headphones. The printer is the hardest one to get. It seems like it sold out everywhere. I’ll have to wait if it becomes available in the next two months.

It is taking me longer than usual to finish decorating the room. I want curtains, picture frames, and wall decals on my walls. At the same time, I have to organize everything. I still don’t know where everything goes. But I do want to have my art supplies close to me. I do have a drawer for my art supplies, but it is already full.

With art, I am planning to practice more on drawing, coloring, and painting. I need to perfect my inking. I love my dip pens and I want to perfect that. And I am sure that I can do better. I love using colored pencils, but I use Crayola more than my Prismacolors. Not going to lie, I am intimidated by the Prismacolor. Scared to make a mistake or not using them how they should. The same with my watercolors.

I got some nice watercolors. And I can’t wait to start using them. I will be a complete noob trying how to use them. Because it is the first time, I want to make a video out of it. I’ve been preparing everything for my mediums. Each medium has its paper. I want to make sure to use the best of the best. Knowing how to use the best supplies make a whole lot of difference in your art.

I discovered something neat I want to try. It is the Sketchbook Project. I am too late to join this volume. But I do want to be part of it someday. I’ve seen reviews, the sketchbook lacks quality. So I won’t complain because it gives me a great opportunity. Is not every day where you can store your art in an art library.

Right now I am going through an artist block. And that is weird because there is a lot of art I want to make. But for some reason, I can’t. Even if I have the idea and all these art supplies, I still can’t draw or color anything. I want this to go away soon. There so much to do right now. The more I have to do it, the less motivation I have. So please wish me good luck!
