Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?
Welcome to my new creative diary post! There is so much to talk about. Even the things that go on behind the scenes. When I say that my work is never-ending, I mean it. It never ends and ideas spawn more ideas. And the list keeps getting longer and longer. But everything is fine. It all takes time and each thing has its own pace.
So what is it going on?
For starters, there is a lot of drawings that I need to get done before the end of this year. Any other drawing ideas that I get will push it for another time. If only that were possible.
I need to color 4 Chibi Cute Characters for 2020 & Draw 12 more CC Characters for 2021: Not only do I have to color an finish the Chibi Characters for this year. I also have to start the new batch for the next. This is what I meant when I said I had a lot to do. The last four months of the year are going to be ultra busy.
Color 4 Holiday Artworks for 2020 & Draw 9 Holiday Art for 2021: Like the Chibi Cute Collection, I also have to create new artwork for it. At least this one only has 9 of them. There could be more but it wouldn’t be special. After I know all the things I need to do, I’ll have to get myself organized.
Color 7 Sketchbook Art for 2020 & Color 12 Sketchbook Art 2021: You know that I always post a Sketchbook Art each month. But I have fallen way behind on my work. So not only do I have to catch up with the current set. I also have to start working for next year’s set.
Create 6 art projects or Draw 5 more CC Collection Art: This one is a bit confusing. It all depends if things go well. I am waiting to move to my new place, then get my own office. If I have a proper desk to work on, I will start doing art projects again. If not, then I’ll continue with the CC Collection Art. I’ll leave the art projects for next year.
Practice Coloring (Watercolor & Colored Pencils): I’ve been practicing my drawing for a long while now. I think it’s time to focus on something that I’ve been ignoring for a while. I want to get better at coloring. It doesn’t matter which medium. Either watercolor or colored pencils, I have to practice both.
Special Project: This is a project I’ve been trying to work on for quite some time. It all depends on how everything goes. Right now would be the right time to draw it. But I also have a ton of work to do. I am lucky if I get this done between 2020 and 2021.
Finish my Daily Practice Sketchbook: Since February I’ve been drawing a new character each day. It is something I’ve done to get better at drawing. I am still not done yet. But soon I will finish my sketchbook of 78 pages. And there are 21 more drawings to go. So I want to be done by next month if I am lucky.
Buy more art supplies: I have a lot of art supplies, but some of them I use it more than others. Now that I am running out it is time to buy some more. At the same time, I want to figure out how much can I get under $50. That would be better than buying an art box with random supplies you don’t need. I am waiting for all this to be over so I can buy it.
I want to furnish my home office: I am dying to have space where to work. But I can’t do that until I move out of my recent apartment. I am saving money to buy a desk and everything else I need so I can work better. It has been a dream of mine for a while. And I am hoping that it comes true in a few months.
See? There is so much to do. And this is only the creative stuff. I am not talking about anything else. I have website, social media, and other things to work on. But I want to focus on one important topic at the time. If I work hard enough, I want to get to done as soon as possible.
There you have it a new diary post. Things are difficult right now. And I am doing whatever I can to stay safe and healthy. Because I’ve been at home for most of the time, I need to take this opportunity to do as much work as possible. So please wish me good luck!
