German Travel Language Guide: Part 1

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Welcome to my new post! I am back at it again. More words and more translations. This time I am doing it in German. When I go to Germany one day I would like to understand their language. Even if it is only in writing. Learning a new language takes time and patience. So I try to make this process as simple as possible.

It has been a while since I’ve last read these words. I remember when I first started practicing. But it isn’t as difficult as I thought. It sounds a bit like English to me. So it wasn’t that hard to pronounce or memorize some of them.

So here are phrases and words translated from English to German:

  1. Hello: Hallo

2. Goodbye: Auf Wiedersehen

3. Good morning: Guten Morgen.

4. Mr.: Herr.

5. Good day: Guten Tag.

37. Can I have it for… euros/pounds?: Kann ich es fürEuro/Pfund kaufen?

38. Do you have something cheaper?: Haben Sie etwas Billigeres?

39. Do you have it in a smaller/bigger size?: Haben Sie das in einer kleineren/größeren Größe?

40. What time does the shop open/close?: Um wieviel Uhr öffnet/schließt das Geschäft?

41. What would you like?: Was möchten Sie?

There are still a few more languages I want to learn. Or at least know the basics. Remembering all the new words isn’t as easy as it used to. But I keep on trying. Someday I will recognize a few by looking at them. At least that is how I experience it when I listen to French. I can’t read or speak it. But I know what they mean.

And there you have it! A new language post. Weird weather patterns have been going on around the State. I am writing this post as fast as possible before the power gets cut off again. If I am lucky I will have time to make something warm to eat. After that who knows. I have enough time to work on new drawings while I am at it.

So please wish me good luck and have a nice day!

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
