Holiday Art: Valentine’s Day Artwork

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to another Holiday art post! February is as weird as December. They both have two holidays back to back. I couldn’t finish this artwork quickly enough so I could post this on time. I am glad that I started planning these drawings ahead of time. Months ahead even. I knew what I wanted to draw, so I wouldn’t be wasting time now trying to figure that part out.

Like the Chinese New Year artwork, I also drew this as a group picture. This time with four girls. From left to right we have Kisana, Eve, Saika, and Kali. The narrative for this picture makes so much sense in why I chose these girls. I obviously wanted to include Eve in this. But this year she won’t be as scantily clothed as last Valentine’s Day. That was only when she is in private.

So the story behind this artwork was that the other girls were asking advice Eve on how to have a loving relationship. Saika wants to bond more with her partner, Kali wants to reciprocate her feelings to her partner, and Kisana wasn’t to show her partner that she really does love them. And they all seemed to think that Eve knows how.

They are all gathered together at Eve’s house. Eve is about to teach them how to cook some chocolate gifts for their lovers. I could have added more girls. But I thought it was cute to add these three. They all have an interesting relationship dynamic. And I thought it was cute that they wanted to be better for their significant other.

Saika has a strange relationship with her partner, they like to argue a lot and prove who dominates more in the relationship. They are like a power couple that has trouble showing their love to each other. Kali is a tomboy and has trouble displaying as much affection like her partner does. So she wants to open up and love on them. Kisana’s partner does everything for her, buys her gifts takes her out, they are always trying to make her happy. People think that their relationship is all one sided and that she only keeps them around because they devote themselves to her. But she really does love them and she wants to do that by doing romantic gestures.

And there you have it, a new holiday art post! In this one I didn’t talk much about their outfits. But I wanted to try out a new style. So I drew vintage style dresses from the 1950’s. I don’t know why, I thought they were cute. And I wanted to see my characters dressed in them. Now I have to start planning on the next Holiday Artwork. I have a lot ideas I want to draw with these girls. And they do take a lot of effort to plan.

So please wish me good luck and have a Happy Valentines?
