Holiday Artwork: Halloween Art

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my Holiday post! We are close to Halloween so I decided to make an art out of it. I’ve started a year ago to make art for each holiday. So now I am keeping my promise. Here is this year’s Halloween Artwork.

I am not into scarecrows at all but the idea came when I went to the DMV one day. I don’t know how but I ended up talking to this lady about my art and my posts online. She told me she liked scarecrows and that she wanted to make her a drawing. It’s not that I forgot, I was very busy preparing for my trip. But before I left I made sure to make a drawing for Halloween and decided to make a scarecrow girl.

These days I’ve been busy with work. So I don’t have much time for art anymore. The only times available are in the mornings before going to work or in the evenings after coming back. I do prefer to work in the mornings. The daylight helps a lot to see the right colors. But I was so pressured to finish this art on time that I had to try it at night. I don’t have the best of lamps but at least it helped.

I’ve realized that coloring with watercolors is quicker than using colored pencils. I have to be honest but colored pencils take forever. So many layers of colors and blending. It takes me at least almost two whole days to get done. With watercolors, I could have finished this art in one night. The only thing I had to do is be patient with the drying and concentrate where I was applying the colors.

Now that I have Halloween done I can start working for my Christmas Artwork. Which I haven’t started or planned at all. But I have a slight idea of what I want to do. It needs to think it over first cause I am starting to have some second doubts about it. It was a good idea at first though. But yeah, there is so much work to do. And I want to get it done on time.

And there you have it a new artwork for Halloween. I don’t tend to make posts for these. But there is always a first for everything. Most of the time I post these kinds of art on Instagram, Deviantart, or on Patreon. I will still do that but posting it on my website will be first. So please wish me good luck.

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
