My Canadian Adventure Part II

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new post! It has been a while since my last adventure post. There is so much that I want to say of the things I did and visited. But there are still so many other things that I did that I need to remember. So that is why I write down my adventures. And that way I won’t forget about my adventures.

I did a lot during my stay in Vancouver. I had so much fun during my visit. I dream of going back. But the best part of it is writing about it all. That is why I am sharing with you about my adventures in Vancouver.

These are the other places I’ve visited:

I went to see the first International Starbucks. It doesn’t look like it, as they are located inside Waterfront Station. They were cheeky to cross the border from Seattle, US to Vancouver, CA and set their store there. To me, that sounds like the easiest attempt for globalization. Four hours away from the original establishment. I am not crazy about coffee, so I missed out on buying a cup of hot java.

The HR MacMillan Space Centre happened without a second thought. I knew that I wanted to go there. And I was aware that the hostel as offering some tours. I went because there was a once a year special. I enjoyed myself with other strangers. After so many years, I went to visit a planetarium. I saw a telescope but it was clear outside and also cloudy. We didn’t do much but I still saw a lot.

Lynn Canyon was the first place I visited as soon as I arrived in Vancouver. I didn’t know anybody, and I didn’t know where I was going. The place was on my list but I was still jetlag. So I didn’t know where my mind was half of the time. It was fun but cold as hell. I’ve realized that I wasn’t fit for hikes, especially during the winter.

It took me some time to visit the Vancouver Harbour Lookout. I was waiting for the day when the sky was clear enough to enjoy the view. But as soon as I go the opportunity to go on the Urban Grind I ignored the weather. I only paid five dollars to climb more than six hundred stairs to the top. It was cloudy anyways but at least I went there. I regret not trying those bubble waffles.

I love the Vancouver Public Library. I don’t remember how many books I’ve checked out of the library. It was good to go online and reserve them. All I had to do was to wait for their call and go pick them up. The library had a whole bunch of books. My love for books resurfaced because of this place. Now I can’t wait to go to another public library.

I went there many times before. But I feel like I didn’t spend enough time there. Gastown was filled with tourists visiting restaurants, and buying souvenirs. My favorite was waiting for the steam clock to blow out some steam.

This was an interesting place to visit. I loved it when I went to an authentic Chinese restaurant. The best part was that I picked the place and I didn’t go alone. I went back to Chinatown two times more. Because every time I went there I saw something new.

Yaletown is where all the tall buildings are in Downtown. It is expensive to eat there. But I went there a few times anyways. That is how I visited the Earl’s Restaurant, ate at the Elbow Room and saw the park with the hanging umbrellas.

I don’t remember the last time I went to a festival. Thank goodness I was part of this Car Free Day at Main Street. There were food trucks, music, and stalls. All occupying a whole street. That was a really hot day to be walking around. But I had fun anyway. I want to go to more street festivals from now on.

I enjoyed myself a lot while living in Vancouver. I know that I still haven’t had enough. Every single day I think about when am I going back. But I have to be patient. One day I am going back there for a week or a month. It is not now but it will be soon.

So there you have it, a new travel post. It has been a while since I’ve posted about my adventures in Vancouver. I promise I am working on that. There is a lot on my plate right now and I need to focus on one thing at a time. But don’t worry about it, next month I will have it all under control. So please wish me good luck.

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add me at FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,
