gallery Photo Showcase: San Juan

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I want to show you a new project of mine. Apart from drawing, painting and coloring. I also have a strong interest in taking photos. I’ve been taking photography courses at the university. And it about time that I show you the photos I have shot.

These is a small collection of pictures I’ve taken when I went to Old San Juan.

From all the pictures I took, these where the best I could find. They were from before I had my first photography course. Someday I want to compare both photos from before and after. To see how much I have improved in my photographic skills. I can see from these images that I need a lot of practice. Even as I am right now, I want to get better.

Why did I decided on photography?

As I aspire to become a photographer, I want to also write about my adventures. With writing, life experiences and pictures, I try to motive others to go out there and see the World. I am a beginner right now, but that doesn’t mean that I wont get better over time.

To take these pictures, I used my Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR camera. I could have edited these pictures to make them look better. But I wanted them to look simple and natural. Like the type of picture a beginner like me would take. With these kind of posts I can try harder. Now I have to take more photos to fill my quota.

The pictures I took are from my island country of Puerto Rico. So I went to the most touristic areas and took pictures. I went to Condado first and visited my favorite seaside park. It is an open park surrounded by hotel buildings with a view to the sea. Then I visited Old San Juan, which is in a small island that connects to the mainland by bridges.

Old San Juan and Condado are right next to each other. What separates them is the Condado Lagoon. At Old San Juan my favorite stop is at El Morro. El Morro is like a fort with large stone walls. Long time ago those walls where built higher. Their purpose was to protect the island from incoming naval attacks and invasions. And now we all enjoy those remainders of the past.

So there you have it. Me giving my first try at showing my initial photography skills. At the same time I was able to show you nice places from my country. I want to take more photos soon. I can’t wait to be at Vancouver, so I can take some amazing photographs. I can’t stop hearing of how beautiful it is over there.

Do not forget to give me visit at my new website The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add meat FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
