Hello everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I have another sketchbook drawing to show you. I am almost done with the sketchbook artworks. But I still have many more drawing to show you. I draw a lot, so I hope I can show you something more than just drawings. First I have to get this done, before I can show you anything else.

So this drawing it’s about a random character I made. Her name is Cookie. It all happened cause there was a girl in a class, that had trouble remembering my name. So she decided to call me Cookie instead. Do I look like a cookie or something? I don’t want to know. After that I made that character. Her origin was so random, that I can’t even think of an original story for her. The only creative thing I did was color her hair, skin and eyes in a chocolate chip theme. Her dress looks like a cookie jar. I even made it as light colored as it could be. I feel like you are going to see this character soon.

How did I made it? I used the same chibi body type as the Chibi Cute Collection. I first started coloring the hair with Prismacolor and then I left it incomplete. Now I just finished it, but I used Crayola instead. I know that Prismacolor has more cookie theme colors. But i have no time to browse through so many pencils. I used the usual black Micron pen. I think it is the best. It doesn’t bleed nor smudges when you color over it. It is a bit expensive for just one pen. But at least it does the job. Sometimes want to try on new pens. I fear of risking the quality of my drawings. Every time I try a new art tool, I first do a test. Why doesn’t  the skin look even? Am I doing something wrong? I will just have to look for a coloring tutorial. I am tired of messing it up. I don’t even know if I am getting better.

And there you have it. There are still 3 drawings left to show before the end of the year. Oh and one new character to introduce. This month has gone so fast. I remember the first post I wrote on December first. Now I am here with a total of 23 posts published. And I am still staring. Right now I am making a “to do list” of things that I still need to work on. That list gets longer and longer each day. There things that I have to do now. So take care and have a nice day.
