Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Today I show you another old but recent drawings. It is the return of my sketchbook drawings. This year I am ready to show you some of my old and new artworks. We are still on the first week of the year. And my excitement levels is off the charts.
So who is this wonderful character?
She is Ebony Jet. A main character along with three other females. All of them together form the letters CMYK. Ebony is the letter K in her group with means black. She represents famine as one of the four horsemen. Her personality is phlegmatic. Weapon of choice is a katana.
How did I colored this picture?
I first ink my drawings with the Sakura Micro Pens. Then I color the picture with my Crayola colored pencils. After that I use the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I would go back and forth with Crayola and the Prismacolors until it all looks even and well blended.
This drawing was colored almost a year ago. Now I know better coloring techniques. But I can do that on this sketchbook. And that is the reason why I got a Strathmore Watercolor Journal. That is my new sketchbook while I use the Canson Mixed Media for practicing.
The only thing I can do for now is continue practicing. Do not worry, I will show you my drawings later. Right now I need something that keeps my creative side calm. I feel like doing something interesting for once in a while.
So there you have it! I can wait to publish more of my drawings. It seems that I am not publishing enough of them. Not also feel like I am not drawing as much as I want to. One of the reason is work. And the other is that all my important art supplies are already packed. And I am not going to unpack my things again. I need to organize my room… soon.
