image Sketchbook Art: Epsilon

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I present to you another new character from my sketchbook. I do have a lot of characters. And it seems like I can’t stop making new ones. But that is the best part of making a drawing. I like this character very much. Finally, the time has come for me to talk about who she is.

So this character’s name is Epsilon. I wasn’t the kind of person to put a date on my drawings. But I drew her a long time ago. I do regret not doing that before. Maybe now I would have known when exactly did I drew this character.

I have a thing for making stories for my characters. But I also prefer not to reuse the same eye/hair color on my characters. In other words, nobody shares the same eye nor hair color. That is quite tough, but I like my characters to be unique. Some might have some similarities, but I make sure they are one of a kind.

This character’s backstory:

One day at school, this eleven-year-old girl let out some strange outburst of energy. It became a known around town to point where her parents had to keep her hidden. Traumatized by the townfolk’s sudden hatred towards her and what she caused. Her accident damaged the school and caused a lot of injured students. Nobody knew what happened and caused it. But they wanted someone to blame.

Months later a secret agency made sure to clean up all the mess caused. It felt like the issue never happened in the first place. The agents explained to her parents what was really going on with her daughter. They offered to send her to a special place where everyone with unique traits could live with ease. The parents were not convinced. Epsilon was eavesdropping and spoke up to accept the men’s offer.

Now a year later Epsilon moves out of her home to live in an artificial territory. A place where people like her can live their lives and develop their special gifts. The story is about Epsilon living her new life while getting used to her new esper powers. She starts off living her first six years in the training academia. Then moves on to living among esper society at a given job related to her gifted skills.

Making this story was very interesting. I always wondered how would it be like to go to a school for gifted children. It makes you feel special and surrounded by other people with the same condition as you. Like any other story, there must be something bad to end it on a good note. But I can’t tell you that now, it would spoil the story.

Like most of the drawings in my sketchbook, I inked this with my black Sakura Micron Pen. I colored it with Crayola colored pencils. Then I used the Prismacolor premier colored pencils and then back to Crayola. For white details, I used the white Gellyroll pen.

There you have it, another art post. It has been a while since I’ve drawn something. Not doing so for a while now is taking its toll on me. I feel different when I do create something versus when I don’t. Soon I’ll be taking that pen and paper again. If only I knew how to manage my time.

Do not forget to give me visit at my new website The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active. Never forget to add meat FacebookTwitterInstagramTumblr, and on Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
