Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new art post! I am happy to show you another drawing from my Blue Sketchbook. After this, I am going to explore other sketchbooks. I’ve been using my Blue Sketchbook for far too long. And the time has come where I am doing a whole lot of changes. So why not change sketchbooks too?

It has been years since I made this drawing. And it only took me a day and a half to color it. Why did I take so long to get this drawing colored? But I did enjoy the process though. I love how bright the colored pencils look over the white background. I want to keep making drawings like these.

I’ve been using the Blue Sketchbook since the beginning of 2012. That means I’ve had this sketchbook for 7 1/2. I should have finished by now. But I haven’t reached the last page yet. Even if I’m not done with it, I decided to move on to other sketchbooks. I can’t be stuck on the same thing forever.

So from now on, I am posting drawing from other sketchbooks. I am retiring my old blue sketchbook. You are asking, what am I going to do with my old drawings? I’ve redrawn all my unfinished drawings into a new mixed media sketchbook. Now I can experiment with other art mediums without ruining the page.

I miss my blue sketchbook. But the time has come where I had to leave it behind. It is not working with me and my art style anymore. It always was a low-quality sketchbook. The only thing I loved about it was that it had a lot of pages. And the paper was super smooth. That is why I bought another one but smaller. But it won’t be my new official sketchbook.

Now that I moved one from my old sketchbook, which of my new ones will be the official sketchbook? I don’t know I have five candidates and I need to test them all out before I make a decision. I want to add a six sketchbook to the fray but I have to hold back. There is too much to decide. Soon I will let you all know about the official sketchbook selection process.

And there you have it, a new sketchbook artwork post. I need all the time that I can get. I am almost scraping it. You have no idea how much I want to move into my new home. I need my space to do art. I am getting kinda worried that I won’t get it done by next month. And I thought that I was having a head start. But what can I do? I need to improve my time management skills. So please wish me good luck.
