Sketchbook Art: Kyrie Midori

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Welcome to my new art post. Did I make this in September? I don’t remember, it was been a while. This is what happens when you work ahead. And there are a few more artworks to work on. This is one of the last drawings in my Strathmore Watercolor 400 Series Journal. But I am already and finished with this journal. I am happy with how much I’ve progressed along with this journal. 

Who is this character Kyrie Midori? She is a character I created a long time ago. This would be her alternate look if her story was different. I had two drawings of her. So I wanted to make the second one a bit different from the original. There is so much I can do with this character. Midori means green in Japanese. So that is why she has the color green. The color is supposed to represent the emotion fear.

There is still a bunch more artwork to work on. And soon I will be drawing next year’s artwork too. Better yet, I started planning my next art journal. I am going to fill it up from top to bottom. Each page is a colored drawing. This going to be a challenge. I hope to pull this off. That is more work than usual. Even my streams are going to change if I do it this way.
