Sketchbook Art: Neko Ishitzu

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?

Today I am posting another colored pencil artwork. These are turning out to be rare. I have to start coloring more. I want to have as many colored artworks as I have line-arts. But some days the medium works with me and sometimes it doesn’t.

Like all my drawings, I drew this a long time ago. So I decided to draw it again. This time with my new art style. It has been a while since I drew Ishitzu in her classic design. She was my first character and I would never forget her. The only difference is her eye colors. Back then it didn’t make sense to me.

If only I made in a watercolor journal I would have colored it as such. Using colored pencils is difficult. But it is also the same with the watercolors. I am more afraid of coloring than drawing. Cause I know that if I make a mistake I won’t be able to fix it.

Drawings are easy to make. Coloring them is the most tricky part for me. The problem is that I am not practicing enough with them. I want to but I can’t bring myself to start either. If only, there were a way to force me to do it. There is a way but I have no money for it yet. I am not buying a printer so I can start practicing.

I heard online that it is a good idea to color on toned paper. I am thinking of getting it. But I am not 100 percent sure yet. I do want to but at the same time, there are many other drawings that I need to make first. And none of them involves coloring. Which is the beginning and end of my artistic dilemma.

So there you have it! A new sketchbook drawing. I have to continue making more because I’ve run out of colored artworks. I guess I’ll have to jump the gun on this one. I do need to start working on new drawings and such. I can’t fall behind for something as trivial as this. So please wish me good luck!

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
