image Sketchbook Art: Rainbow Hearts

Rainbow Hearts

Hello everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I present to you a sketchbook art. I am soon reaching the end of my sketchbook drawings. There are still four drawings left to show you. In my sketchbook there are still more. But I can’t show them all to you, yet. I am working to get them all done as soon as possible. There are other artworks that I should be doing right now. I’ll leave that for later.

The Rainbow Hearts were characters that I made for a story. At first they were going to be females. But as the story progressed, it suited better if the characters were male instead. I still kept this drawing, even though I didn’t need it anymore. I’ve erased and remade a few drawings in my sketchbook. Just because I’ve changed plans halfway through. So instead of deleting this one, I made another one. The second rainbow hearts are all male. In other words, it is the genderbend version of this girls. What is their story about? I can’t tell you. It is still under construction and I don’t want to spoil the story.

How did I made it? The red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, and indigo, I used the Prismacolor Verithin. It works a lot better than the Premier softcore. I am not saying that the later sucks. I am just saying that for applying even color the Verithin are more useful. It had the same lead hardness as the Crayola colored pencils. The rest I colored it with Crayola. The hair, their skin and the shirts. I need to keep practicing on the skin tones. They almost look like they have the same skin tone. I am kinda limited with 3 pencils but I still can get a wide variety of tones. You know the drill black Micron pen for the outlines. This time I used something new, white Gellyroll for the light in their eyes. I think I will use that more often. Now I don’t have to worry that I’ve colored the whole eye by accident.

So there you have it another artwork from my Blue Sketchbook. I got to go soon cause I am preparing something special for tomorrow’s post. It isn’t ready yet…actually I still haven’t colored it yet. I was going to do that today, cause I was looking for ways on how to color it. This going to be an important post, and I don’t want to mess it up. Remember to subscribe to my page, so you can get notifications of my next posts. Take care and have a nice day.

See you all later and Happy Holidays,

from Ijiserure.
