Sketchbook Art: Shop Maid

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new art post! Today I present another one of my drawings. I love the way my art has become. And because of that, I haven’t stopped coloring. Because projects that I need to finish too. But the more I do it the better I am getting at it.

Trying to make my art look this way is kinda complicated. Before I start anything I make sure to use the right paper. So far I’ve been using the Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor paper. It works so well. But I’ve been testing other papers too.

The reason why I use watercolor paper is that I use watercolor pens on it.  And because the paper is very sturdy. I do abuse the page a lot. That is why I categorize these drawings as mixed media. But most of it is colored pencils.

I’ve had my Prismacolor Colored Pencils for a few years now. And I’ve always had problems with how to use them. Until now. This is the first time I’ve felt like I’ve done something worthwhile with them. Soon I’ll run out of my dark colors. And whites too. But white pencils are for blending.

Doing these drawings takes so much time. But it is all worth it. If I count the drawing process then I’ll say it would take me from 2 to 3 days to complete. That is why I can’t dish out as many colored drawings as I want. If I do, I’ll have to make them way in advance.

I do love my drawings a lot. And more now at how they look colored. This motivates me to color more. All I want to do now is color more drawings like these. This is another example that practice makes perfect. I practiced so much to get this. It is ironic that it all started because I was procrastinating on my Halloween art.

So there you have it! A new sketchbook art. I’ve never known how many drawings I needed to make to be able to post twice a week. I would do so but they never get colored. That is why I have a ton of line arts and so little colored artwork. But this time I will do it for this month. Next year I’ll try to slow down a bit.

Please with me good luck and have a nice day!

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,
