Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Welcome to my new post! The holidays are here! This is my favorite time of the year. And I am very excited to make this post. But things are different now. So the way I used to celebrate the holidays are going to change to. But it is more exciting now cause I get to do things that I’ve never done before.
I live in a new city now. Nothing here is like back home. And I am still trying to get used to this place. Now that I am in San Antonio I have to figure out what can I do for the holidays. This is going to be my first holiday being away from my family.
Christmas here in the Stated is a bit different than back home. Things get done in a different way. Now that I am on my own I can create some new traditions. And celebrate Christmas as I want it to. So I made a list of all the things to do for the holidays.
Things you can do during the holidays:
- Build a gingerbread house
- Go to the Holiday Park
- Decorate the House
- Start an Advent Calendar
- Go Christmas Shopping
- DIY some Christmas Ornaments
- Organize a Secret Santa
- Go to a White Elephant Party
- Plan a Christmas Eve Party
- Go to see the Nutcracker Performance
I want to create my own Christmas traditions. And celebrate the holidays like I wish to. But I don’t want to miss out on all the other activities going around the city. So I am glad there are a lot of things to do throughout December. I will be lucky if I get to see most of them. At least my list is long enough for me to enjoy two or three of these.
Another part of the list is about things that I want to do. Buy and decorate my own tree. Go shopping for gifts in a mall I’ve never been to. Build a gingerbread house. And make some holiday punch. So there is a lot to do for the holidays if you love to stay at home.
So far I’ve only hung up an ornament on my front door. I am still planning what I am going to cook for Christmas Eve. And the gifts were already bought. I withheld from decorating the apartment. So this year is going to be very frugal. I am saving all the flare for next year.
And there you have it, the first Holiday post of December. I am super busy these past weeks. Ups and downs and everything between. I am lucky that I can multi-task at work. Well, I can’t color nor draw at work so that is the downside. At least I have time before and after work to work on that.
I hope everything changes for next year. Well if nothing changes then I’ll change it. I want to go out more. have more free time. Payless on bills or at least save more money. There is so much that I have to do or want to do but I can’t, not now. I’ve been patient for a whole year. And I decided to fight back even if I can’t. So please wish me good luck.
