Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?
Welcome to another Travelog post! I love going back to my old trip photos. It brings back good memories. I can’t wait to go back. I’ve been having some winter withdrawal. I miss the snow and the cold. So every time that happens, I think about Whistler or Banff. The most snowy places I’ve been to.
It took a day to get there. From Victoria to Vancouver to Banff. I slept 12 hours in the bus overnight.
When I woke up I was there. It was morning and it was already snowing. Which was good because I love the snow.
My stay was short-lived. But I enjoyed it. I visited the Fairmont Banff Springs and the lake of my dreams at Lake Louise. And some new friends along the way.
Traveling is better with people joining you. A bit of Beavertails made the trip even better. Lake Minewanka was cool.
I wish I could have done more. So I’ll save it for when I return. Alberta beef tastes amazing. 10/10 I would eat again at the Fairmont Chateau.
Now that winter is almost here, I am starting to miss Banff. It is rather warm in Texas right now. Which I do not accept. Fall and Winter are supposed to be cold. My dream holidays is to spend it in a cozy cabin in the snowy mountains. The type that you see on Christmas movies.
One day I will go back. To play in the snow and drink some hot chocolate. If I am lucky I want to do cross country skiing and take a dip in the hot springs. At least I have a plan and know what I want. Poutine and beavertails here I come!
So there you have it. I should be grateful that I am healthy and that I still have a job. I need to stop complaining that the weather isn’t cold enough. With this weather I am not withering in heat. It isn’t too warm nor too cold. It is a good weather to go out and relax. I still haven’t seen Downtown yet. It must be pretty with the Christmas lights on.
