Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my post! So the holidays came and I’ve been holding myself from buying some nice things. As soon as Cyber Monday came I couldn’t hold it any longer. I didn’t splurge but I got things that I needed. Some were out of impulse and the other were things that I wanted to try for a very long time.

I got a lot of things for myself, but some were for Christmas and the others for my birthday. After so much spending, it will be a while before I go shopping again. I have a long wishlist and I can’t wait to get all the things that I want. But I already have a lot of things. So this is enough.

These are the things that I got for Christmas:

• Floor lamp with daylight lightbulbs: I got my lamp. Now I can work till the late hours of the night. With these light bulbs, I can see my drawings clear. Perfect for when I have to the pictures. I don’t regret it.

• An electric toothbrush: I love my new toothbrush. As soon as I got it I threw away the old one. Now my dental hygiene is on point. What I like the most is that I will be getting my refill in three months. It is the cheapest of the toothbrushes but it looks cute.

• Handlettering guide book: The day has come where I will be able to learn how to do some hand lettering. I’ve seen how amazing it looks. And I want to do that too. I don’t remember why I haven’t done this before. But now that I have it, it’s the time to start.

• Arteza Watercolor Journal: I fixed it! I got a decent size watercolor journal from Arteza. Now I can make larger drawings. I could have picked a bigger one but I fell for the square one. The best of all is that it came in a bundle of three. So I have more journals to go around.

• Flexible phone holder: I need this and now I have it. With it, I can mount my phone on my desk. It will work as my extra pair of hands to hold my phone while I am drawing. Yes, I am going to use my phone as a camera. With this, I plan to push my blogging to another level.

These are the things that I got for my Birthday:

• Canson XL mixed media sketchbook: This was unexpected. I had an urge to get ultra good with my drawings. So I bought this cheap sketchbook to practice with. There is some much I want to improve before I start drawing my coloring book. And I picked this one cause their paper can handle any medium if I want to paint or color.

• Leuchtturm 1917: I thought it was time for me to create my coloring book once and for all. After so much deliberating I decided that the Leuchtturem was a good sketchbook to draw on. The pages are large, white and smooth. Something that I need if I want to scan these drawings. It was a bit pricey, but it is going to be worth it.

• Cute backpack: Most of the things that I’ve got were for my creative side. So I wanted some cute things. There is this backpack that I’ve wanted to get since I was in Vancouver. After so many months, now I get to enjoy a fashionable looking backpack. Now I can give my purse and my shoulder a break.

• Phone case: I needed this for a long while. The one that I got before cracked on its nth time. And I’ve been waiting for the right time to get a new one. I was already overdue but I now have a case that won’t break at the first drop. I picked silver because it matches the phone.

• Leather necklace string: I tend to get a Swarovski crystal necklace for my birthday. So far I don’t know where to buy them here in San Antonio. But why buy more when I don’t wear the ones that I have. So I bought a leather string so I can use it anytime without having to take it off. That was one of the reasons why I couldn’t wear my necklace all the time.

• A haircut: I have a lot of hair and I was dying to get a haircut. So to treat myself I went to a salon to take care of my hair needs. I want to enjoy my new look for 2020. And getting my hair short was the best chouse that I could think of. Now my hair can grow healthier and stronger.

As much as I like getting new things, I can’t be spending money like a maniac. There bills to pay, money to save and, a computer that I have to buy. I want to try changing jobs, something that pays higher. But for now, I am going to enjoy what I have. The holidays are over and things are going to go back to normal.

And there you have it, a new post. I guess this is the last holiday post?! This is a follow up to the Christmas wishlist post. I guess I went overboard this year. I bought more gifts than I needed. To be honest I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to get. But it all ended well anyway. Now, let’s go back to reality and continue with work. So please wish me good luck for this whole year.
