Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Today I want to talk about another of my many drawings. You know how much I like drawing. And soon I will finish with all the drawings made on cheap paper. Soon I will redo them all and color them too. That is a mission I have decided to fulfill for next year.
This time I made another of “me”. Or you could say my character Garnet Ijiserure. I like making a lot of pictures of her. Before I stop myself cause I am making too much. This is the first picture I colored with my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. For being my first try, it came out alright. It motivates me to color some more.
This drawing I made it a few years ago. It was on 2014. Wow, that was quite a while ago. A lot if things happened since then. And I’ve done so many things too. That is why I try to do so many things. Because time goes fast. And I don’t want to waste or miss a thing.
Talking about time and art. I am starting to make my new art wishlist. For Christmas that is coming soon. There is less than a 100 days left. As I am learning how to improve my drawing. There are new art supplies I want to try out. White ink for white details. Super thin brushes for extra fine painting. Skin tone markers. And many other stuff. Each day I have to decide which art supply I need less. Because it is very hard to not take everything with me to Canada.
Back then I used to only use regular paper, colored pencils and my micron pens. The pens have never failed me. The colored pencils, I have changed from Crayola to Prismacolor. And the paper, well I am working on a new medium. Watercolor all the way for me now. I am buying more pens. Getting a new watercolor sketchbook. This time I am trying out on markers. For coloring skin tones with shading. It is much more easier with markers than with pencils.
So there you have it another art post. I wish I had more time for my art. But my job is taking all that time away from me. The only thing I want from a hard day of work, is to rest and not do anything. Wondering what creative thing I will do next. The storm is passing by and there isn’t much else to do.
These hurricanes have made my job a mess. The people in town are going insane and the stores are always full and out of stuff. For precautionary measures I’ve been writing all my posts ahead of time. A second hurricane is passing and I am sure that if the power goes out I will be ready. So if I sound kinda off and out of date, it means that I wrote this post days before
