Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new art post! It has been a while since I’ve worked on these. And I am feeling very rusty. Now I’ll work on a few more of them. This is more fun than you think. There are no rooms for mistakes and I can always fix it. That is why I like art journaling so much. You can create whatever.

I do love how this one looks. I wish I could have made it better. But this functions as a learning curve. There is still a full journal with unfinished projects. But I have to take my pace. Soon I’ll find my creative spirit all over again. I have to polish my art journaling skills.

Like any other art journaling project, I first get an idea and then I dump a lot of stuff on to a page. Then I keep adding more and more things. I do whatever it takes to make it look the way I want it too. Sometimes they come out different, but I like it that way too. The best projects are the ones that you didn’t have to plan for.

I love the colors. The more the better. If they are vibrant that is cool with me too. I wish the paper can handle all the mediums and layers. If I wanted to I could have added more and more. But I was kinda satisfied with this result. Another time I can create another one and do the things that I wanted to do.

I used ink sprays, pens, and more sprays. At first, this was a complete mess. But I found out a way to work around it. That is why I use gloves when I work on art journaling. There are things that I would have liked to have done in a different way. I don’t like the way I wrote things. And the pen isn’t working well with it at all.

Out nowhere I had this idea to create my own adaptation of a song. I like colors a lot. So I modified the “Colors” lyrics to add my own colors. The chorus I left it the same, but the colors and descriptions I’ve changed it. I worked hard to make it rhyme and match me well.

These are the lyrics I wrote on the artwork:

Magenta is, the freedom in my mind.
Gold is for, the emotions that you shine.
Green brings back, the calmness in the plants.
Turquoise finds, the creativity in your hands.
Violet hides, the sensitivity in your eyes.

When we're together,
Colors don't matter much to us.
When we're together,
8-bits is enough for us. 
Corazon feathers,
Flying inside of copper line.
When we're together,
They are yours and they are mine.

I’ve enjoyed what I did and I want to do it some more. So now I am going to sit down and finish some more art journaling projects. They have been waiting for so long for me to finish them. I am positive that I won’t have them all done, but at least a few. And that is good enough for me.

So there you have it! A new art project. I have to make some more to have a reserve for the next months. They are going to be tough months. I have to work through it. Until I can settle in, I won’t be able to create art at all. And I don’t want to make a mess at my homestead.
