Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today?
Welcome to my new art post! Finally, after weeks I am able to post new art. It feels like forever since the last time I did so. But I am back! And I am going to work hard to compensate for how long it took me to come back. At least I am happy to have this done on time. I didn’t want to rush things like I always do. Thank goodness this artwork looks amazing.
I drew this almost a month ago. I was already preparing this drawing way back in December. And my plan was to post this at the beginning of January. But a lot happened and I had to cancel those plans. After a few weeks later I was able to color this last Sunday on my live stream. She looks amazing. I don’t remember when was the last time I colored an artwork. For some reason, it feels like forever. But I am back again.
Like every Chibi Cute Collection Art, I drew this is my Leda Art Supply Sketchbook. Yes, I have to say the whole name or it won’t make any sense. If you want to buy one, this is the way to find it easier. But I do love this sketchbook for my Prismacolor pencils. It gives me less resistance when drawing or coloring. Too bad I can’t use wet media on it. But I don’t recommend it anyways. The pages feel too thin to handle liquids.
The hardest part of this picture was coloring the black part of her dress. It took me a while to color all that dress even. The off-white color of the page makes white stand out even more. I’ll think about getting an off-white sketchbook in the future. While finishing this drawing I did forget to add something. But because of it, it makes the art a bit more distinguishable from my past drawings. I’ll do the same mistake again because I like how it looks. I won’t say what it is, I’ll let you guys find out on your own.
Even though I drew this picture in December, I declare this artwork as part of the 2022 art collection. There is also another artwork that I made for the start of the year. But I decided to leave it for the end of this one. It still matches the theme. Only seen from the other side. It will make more sense when the time comes. For now, I have to focus on making more drawings. There is a lot more for me to work on and I need new drawings pronto. Why does the first half of the year have so many holidays together?
And there you have it a new art post. I am trying so hard to write my posts ahead of time. Thinking about what will happen soon and how to be ready for it. There is so much that I want to do, the question is, Do I have the time? All I can say is that I want to have enough drawings to post one picture each week this year. But will I have enough content to live stream with? That is something I have to think about now.
