Hello Everybody! How are you all doing today!
I am back! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve last posted. But there was a lot going on that I had to sort out first. Now I am doing the catching-up game. Getting back to doing the things that I am supposed to be working on. I am glad to be back. I didn’t go anywhere I was out of commission.
So at the beginning of this year, I went on a spontaneous trip. I traveled to the East Coast to visit family. So I landed in New Jersey and I had the opportunity to visit New York along the way. The experience was different than any other trip I’ve had. Not going to lie I do plan to go back one day.
I had the chance to go to stay the night in the Big Apple. It was a very cold day but I still walked around the streets like it didn’t bother me. It was three days after New Year, so there was still confetti floating in the wind.
I ate true authentic New York Style Pizza. And I can say I’ve never eaten a pizza like it before. They were huge with loads of toppings. There were a lot of things I wanted to try. But I couldn’t leave without trying Lavain’s chocolate chip cookies. Before leaving I tried some Chinese Food. It was amazing like they make it back home in PR.

The best part of the trip was visiting Times Square at night. The best time of day to be able to see all the bright billboards. I don’t know how I managed to get there on a subway. I saw the Empire State Building up close and I walked by Central Park the next day.
I enjoyed my brief time there. And I wish I could have spent more time. This makes me want to go back there. But I can’t do that yet. Not until this pandemic ends. Because of this, I can’t go anywhere. So traveling endeavors are at a halt till further notice.
And there you have it a new Travelog Blog post. There is so much I want to do and places to see. For now, I will stick close to home and enjoy what I have around me. If I don’t do that, I will regret it one day for not going out more and seeing the things that I had around me. And that is what I plan to do this year.
