Life Post: January 2020

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my life Post! This month went by very slow. But I am not complaining. I didn’t do much but at least I did something. 2020 is a year of changes and this was one of it. So I am glad about how I spent this month. I could have done more but there is always time for everything. There is no need to rush.

So this month I went to places and did things. Things that I’ve been wanting to do for so long. But my busy life doesn’t let me. So my resolution for this year is for me to do as much as I can whenever I have the opportunity. It is difficult when those opportunities are taken from you at the last minute.

What have I done during this month?

First off, I got a free ice cream scoop. So for my birthday, I got a coupon to get free ice cream. That made my day. My year started sour so this scoop fixed it right up. I am glad that I can use these coupons here. Back home I don’t have a printer and the coupons aren’t valid.

This was last minute, but for my birthday I went out with my cousin and my brother. We went to the mall. The mall was full of people on a Friday evening. We didn’t buy anything, only looking around at things that were too expensive for what it was worth. At least I went somewhere.

But the hunger was getting to us hard and this was the highlight of that evening. So for my birthday, I wanted to go to Olive Garden. I’ve never been there before. So this was going to be a new experience for me. I wanted to try everything. It was my day so I saved money to spend it on this. I tried 2 of their soups, the endless salad, their breadsticks. I also tried the shrimp and the mozzarella appetizers. I go the tortellini pasta and a chocolate lasagna. But the best of all was the strawberry-passion fruit lemonade.

The service was amazing the waiting time was agonizing. On my food score, I would give it a 7 1/2 out of 10. Cause the food didn’t make me addicted to it. But I do want to go back. I am happy they are not that far away from the house. But there are still more restaurants from me to try and I don’t know which one to go to next.

After a week of non-stop working, I convinced my brother to go out somewhere. So we waited for the weather to be right and went to visit a park. The day was cold yet sunny so we did pick a perfect day. We went to Brackenridge Park. There is a lot to do here and we didn’t have enough time to do it all.

So we spent the day enjoying the scenery, taking lots of pictures. We also took a hike in a few trails and I played some Pokemon Go. There are a ton of Pokestops there. It has been a long time since we took out our cameras. I took this chance to have a photoshoot. It has been a while since I’ve taken a photo. I want to go back there someday. There is so much I’ve missed.

The rest of the month it went by slow. Not much has happened. One time at work I got free food. So I was happy about that. Now I need to go to a smokehouse and try some brisket. I want to find the best bbq in San Antonio. Speaking of food I’ve been cooking more often. Cupcakes, Jello, Stew, Steaks, and Cinnamon rolls. I like cooking and I love eating them too.

There is so much work to do for this year. And to be ready I cleared out my closet and turned it into a mini work spot. It is not comfortable but at least I have a place to do my work. There are also art supplies that I need to buy. So I went to Michael’s to see what they sold. Not everything that I need, so I’ll have to visit another art store.

Meanwhile, I visited Barnes and Noble for the first time. It reminds me so much of Borders Bookstore. One day I will go there and buy a book. Then I will go to Starbucks next door to lounge with a coffee and my new book. But it is going to be difficult cause I don’t know which book to buy first. I would like to get the RWBY Anthology or the Wimpy Kid Books.

There you have it a summary of what I’ve done through this month. Thinking back on it, I did a lot. More than whatever I’ve done last year. And I am happy about it. I can’t wait for February to arrive. There is so much I want to do, and it so hard to plan ahead of time. But I am trying, so please wish me good luck.

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,

from Ijiserure.
