Hello everybody! How are you all doing? Ready for the new year?
Before we say goodbye to 2016. Did you all complete your resolution list? I know I haven’t. There are things that I have to move on for the next year. Maybe I’ll do them this time around. Or I’ll just store this list away and forget about it. But there is a list of important things that I want to get done. I am crossing my fingers to achieve them.
So here is my resolution list for 2017:
* Stop Procrastinating: I have so many things to do. But for some reason I find the time to just sit down and do nothing about it. Most of the time my excuse is “there is so much to do, but I don’t know where to start”. In the end I just don’t do anything productive and waste a whole day. So for this year I will work my hardest to stop this from happening. Have to stop being so lazy, I can’t go along doing this forever. I am sure that the more I do it, the lazier I become.
* Become a Classy Person: By this it doesn’t mean that I am the rudest most badmouth person in the neighborhood. My goal to become a classy person is because I know I have to learn how to behave myself towards others. Sometimes I get a little bit too excited around people, when I go out or sometime I just become a total introvert. Watch out more for the things that I say. Cause I tend to not think before I speak or I just don’t care about the consequences of my words. What I want is to become a cuter and more sociable person. So this next year it is a must to learn to be a bit classier.
* Save $7000 dollars: Well one of my major dreams is to travel the world. But before I go packing my bags and heading towards the airport, I need to have the money to travel first. Traveling is not free. Well for some people it is. I am talking about those business trips or the accumulated travel miles. I do not own that privilege, so like any other person I have to save money to get what I wan’t. I know that I might not get exactly $7000 in one year, but at least I could try. The only thing that matters is that I at least save some money.
* Cut out the sugar: 2017 is the year where I cut down in half my sugar intake. I’ve eating a lot of sugary foods lately. So from the start of the year I will completely stop drinking soda. I have noticed that I drink any water. I could last more than 5 days without water by drinking something else like juice or soda. My diet doesn’t feel healthy at all. When I do some creative artwork I sometime eat a dessert to boost my “creative energies”. But sometime I just buy it, eat it then do nothing. So I will only get my sweet treat as a reward, after I have done my work. So this goal is a must, it might be one of the hardest to carry on forward.
* Do more artworks: Between 2015 and 2016, I haven’t created enough artworks like I used to. Now that I am in a Fine Arts degree, I want to boost up my creative performance. Most of my free time I need to dedicate it into creating art. And also in my blog (which it feels like it’s own piece of artwork). If in a week I made a coloring book, how much can I do in a year?
* Finish my photography degree: Sometimes I lose hope in the goals I put myself into. And sometimes I feel like there is no point in completing those goals. A few months ago I lost the motivation of finishing my photography degree. But I am going to continue working on it and keep moving forwards. So I have to work harder in all my university classes. Take all my classes, never back down, never surrender and reach the end of my goal.
* Become more independent: By becoming more independent means that I want to move on in life. Without the need of always relying on my parents’ help. I wan’t to do things on my own and in my own way. Make them know that I can do things by myself and that I am not as useless as they think I am. Sooner or later I will find my way to move out of my parents’ house, as it is one of my major goals in life right now.
* Find what I want to do with my life: I already know what I want to do with my life. But making it happen and working my way to make it real, is another story. From the beginning of 2017, I am working non-stop on my blogging. Well except when I have to go to work or have a class assignment. Just hope that I can make this possible and not end up backing down half way. That is why I made it a goal for this year. If I can do this and survive on my first year then I am sure I can work hard and resist the next one.
* Finish my blue sketchbook: Is not like I am planning to get the sketchbook finished by the end of the year. It is not necessary to finish it either. I just need a reminder to not neglect my old drawing sketchbook. I have it since 2012, and it is still isn’t done. But as long as I don’t finish that blue sketchbook I wont start a new one.
* Work on completing my bucketlist: Well I am not in a rush to get this one done. I just need to complete some goals once in a while. In 2016 I completed a few things. For 2017, I am not sure what might happen, anything in that list could possible. So as long as I live and think of the present I can always work on it. When I have the time or when life gives me that opportunity.
There you have it, a list of things that I have to complete. I hope I don’t forget. It would be a bit embarrassing to remember about the list at the end of the year. Tell me do any of you believe in the resolution list? Are there anythings you want to achieve for the next year? If you do, feel free to post in the comments about it. I want to know if we have the same goals. Well I am getting ready for the new year, see you all on the other side. And don’t forget to subscribe to my site. My posts will about a regular schedule so it wont be daily like it had been.
If you don’t want to miss out I also post updates on my Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr at Ijiserure’s Art. So take care, have a nice day and Happy New Years Eve.
