Hello everybody! How are you all been doing?
Today I want to post another drawing from my Blue Sketchbook. To be honest, I though I wasn’t going to be able to post today. Last night, or should I say midnight the power went out. I was just arriving back from work. The power didn’t came back until 9 am. So the first thing I did was finish this drawing and scan it. This is why I am posting so early today. Cause I am afraid that the power might go out again.
The concept of this drawing is kinda old. It goes back to when I was in seventh grade. Three classmates and me were into Gwen Stefani, and each of us decided to be the “LAMB”. There was love, angel, music and baby. Guess who I was?…I was music. We each also selected a signature color. There was pink, orange, blue and purple. I had blue because it was my favorite color. After so long, during my university years I decided to make this drawing. To remember those times. The drawing it’s called “Angel Baby Love’s Music” cause that is the order in which they are. It is each of them from left to right. First is “Orange Love”, then “Purple Baby”, “Pink Angel” and the last one, “Blue Music”.
Like always, I used Crayola colored pencils. But first I colored the base with Prismacolor Verithin Pencils. By now you might now how the process goes. I outlined it with a black Micron pen. But I only did it on their skin and clothes. I stopped outlining their eyes and hair. I am trying to make it look more delicate. Scanning these drawing is a bit of a hassle. My sketchbook is kinda bulky and it’s so hard to keep the lid of the scanner closed. But at least I am already half way and I am coloring my sketchbook drawings. Some of these drawings I drew them in 2012, so they have like 4 years. Such a long time ago.
So there you have it. Another sketchbook art from yours truly. Now I am going to work on all the things that I wanted to get done. Yay! I finished this semester! Every time I say that, it sounds like this semester was horrible. Actually it was peachy. I’ve had horrible ones and this one wasn’t near as bad as them. But I wanted it to be over. Maybe it’s because I wanted time to dedicate it to my site. I don’t know, the only thing that matters is that it is all over. Well I have to go and stay tune for my next post.
