Chibi Sensy

Hello everybody! How are you all doing?

Today I want to show you a drawing from my Blue Sketchbook. I am already two drawings left. There are so many more drawing in my sketchbook. But the other ones have a story. I would have to sit down and elaborate on each details in why did I made such characters. The end of the year is drawing near. So there are still some few posts left to publish. You might think that I am already set up with my blog. To tell you the truth, I am behind my whole work. Still haven’t even written my drafts. And now I am planning to rearrange the order of the posts. I feel like I will be going to bed late this week.

So today’s drawing is about Sensy. Sensy is short for Senspiration. In other words, she is my site’s mascot. Now that I’ve said that. I think I should make more drawings of her. Or at least present her in every corner of my page. I will think about it. Maybe it might be or not a good idea.

Why did I made her? I don’t know. When I make a random drawing most of them are without a purpose. It takes a while until I find them a reason for it to exist. I think I drew Cookie and Sensy by the same time. But I wasn’t planning anything when I did it. Maybe it was one of those days when I was bored and felt like drawing something, anything.

How did I made it? I first colored her hair with Prismacolor then left it incomplete. Glad that I did that. Cause it made my recoloring a lot easier. Now I knew where the dark brown, blue and magenta went. I just had to use the right color over it. As you’ve noticed, I am testing if it is a good idea to outline the hairs and eyes. I stopped doing so cause they are both the most delicate part of the body. I will continue doing so on certain drawings. After coloring, I’ve learned that how to combine Prismacolors and Crayola colored pencils. I would first use Prismacolor, then Crayola and back to Prismacolors to give it a last coating of color. I’ve been doing Prismacolor and then Crayola and nothing else.

There you have it, another of my drawings. You will miss my daily posts. I can’t do this schedule forever. I am glad that I’ve planned making posts on Mondays and Fridays from January and onward. First I need to reschedule my post calendar. Then start writing my drafts and finish my ongoing projects. It sound like a lot, and it is. Now I am going to go and tried to catch up on my work. Remember to subscribe to my site to know when my next post gets out. Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. Take care and have a nice day.

See you all later and Happy New Year,

from Ijiserure.
