Sketchbook Art: Tsuki & Hoshi

Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?

Welcome to my new sketchbook art post! Today I am posting my most recent colored artwork. I am trying to make my art look better as I am practicing with my pens every day. This is so far as I’ve gotten in a few days. I want to get better soon.

I am surprised by how fast I made this artwork. As you can see, I didn’t use a lot of colors. But I am proud of my progress. I am still working on ways to make the colors pop more. Also, I experimented a bit with the background. Let’s see what more can I do after more practice.

I’ve posted these characters before. But I haven’t mentioned much about them. Like any other character I’ve made theirs have a meaning. Tsuki’s name means Moon and Hoshi means star. Also, the name of Tempi means Sun.

Tsuki and Hoshi were created by their goddess Seren. Tempi was the first created. Then Tsuki and Hoshi were created together to keep Tempi company. While the goddess is absent they maintain the domain. They can’t use magic but they are good at regular tasks and a lot of wisdom.

Tsuki and Hoshi are always together. Tempi works as an administrator while the goddess isn’t around. And Tsuki and Hoshi are there to help her. There isn’t much to do than keep things working in order. Also, their task is to take care of the three young faes living in the goddess’ domain.

There is more I want to say about these characters. But I am not ready to explain part of the story. These characters are important by they are only secondary characters. So I still don’t have a story for them. They are only involved in other character’s stories. One day I will make something for them.

Like usual, I drew them in my Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Journal. The ink I used was the Deleter Neopiko Pens. With my favorite coloring supply the Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. They aren’t watercolors at all. They are pens with water-soluble ink. I always need to remember that. That is why I need to practice how to use them better. I can’t continue treating them like watercolors.

And there you have it. This is a new sketchbook art post. I know this post is a bit short, but I am trying to juggle a lot of things. Either I have time to do something but not enough for the other. I still don’t know how to manage my time. So please wish me good luck!

Do not forget to give me a visit at The Senspirational ArtRoom. All I need is your support and now you can do so by going to my Patreon page. Or go to see my older drawings at DeviantArt. There are also many other sites that I am currently active in. Never forget to add me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Well, I’ll leave now. Be nice to others and have a nice day!

See you all later and take care,
