Hello Everybody! How are you all doing?
Welcome to my new art post! I am so happy that I can now show all the artworks that I’ve been working on for over a year. It is easy to draw them. The hardest part for me is to color them. But I do enjoy the process. So I hope you all like them.
So today I am posting another character with her own story. I am more surprised how easy I can bring forth all these characters. The second part would be to make up a story for them. But I have to search around for tropes and facts. I want their story to be as believable as possible.
Who is this character?
Her name is Rosette Romanov. She is seventeen and she goes to a gender divided boarding school. An academy for noble children. It was for finding marriage partners for the students. So by graduation, they were arranged to marry someone. But for Rosette, it was a place for her and her sisters to hide and be safe.
It wasn’t Rosette’s idea to find a husband. Her family was going through tough times. So her sisters and her fled to find refuge in the school. She never talked to a boy in person, but she ended up falling for one. And she did it all happened through a library book.
One day she went to the library searching for a book to whisk her away from the monotony of each day. So she picked up a book series with many volumes series. Taking the book out of the library wasn’t allowed. So she had to read the book at the library during the study period. She was very so into the book she made some notes on a stationary note.
In a rush to get to her next class she left the note inside the book. It was time for the boy’s study period. And a guy went to looking for a book for an assignment. Among the shelf of books, he spotted a decorative slip of paper inside a book. So he grabbed it and took a look inside.
The next day she was looking for her note. And the last place to look it for was inside the book she read the day before. The difference was that somebody wrote something in it. They were all answers to the things she was wondering about the story. Thanks to the notes she understood the book a bit better. So she left a new note thanking the anonymous person.
And yeah, that is how this story all started. It is exciting to think about how will I build up their story. I do know how it ends. But not a clue what will go in the middle. So far anything can happen. I like making stories but I am not that good at them. I don’t know when, but I do have to write them down.
And there you have it a new sketchbook art. I do so much work around the week. If only I could be more organized with myself. At least I have time to make a drawing per day. Today is my fourth day at it. I am wondering how long can I go before I burn out. My sketchbook has 80 pages. Can I get that far? Please wish me good luck.
